Ritchie started his automotive career over 30 years ago as a parts apprentice at Robins and Day Canterbury where he was named trainee of the year. Since then he has excelled in a variety of aftersales, IT and project management roles – culminating in successfully delivering what, at the time, were two of the largest IT projects ever undertaken by Inchcape PLC. In 2006, Ritchie set up his own IT consultancy delivering services to global automotive industry and in 2015 he began developing iDealFile. He’s always happy to help and makes a cracking cup of coffee.
Andy has over 10 years of automotive industry experience in the UK and Europe. His strong commercial acumen and sound financial background underpin his ability to develop and implement winning strategies at MotorDocs. A strong and motivational leader, Andy enjoys building and being part of a high performing team. This quest for excellence also transfers to the golf course where his determination and ability to embrace challenges also come into their own.
Carl began his career in the automotive industry in the aftersales department at Ford – initially to develop the aftersales business for a group of dealers in the Berkshire area before becoming Aftersales Director for a large Ford group. Carl subsequently founded his own software business building aftersales solutions which he ran for 11 years. Carl brings his forward-thinking, strategical mindset and focussed approach to business growth to his role at MotorDocs. When he’s not writing code, Carl loves to spend time at home with his children.
Georgina has worked in a number of roles within the automotive industry – including vehicle administration, database management, marketing, IT and sales training. Owing to this varied and first-hand experience in the automotive sector, Georgina understands the challenges facing our customers which allows her to build a system which mirrors their processes and helps them to get the most out of the iDealFile platform. When she is not busying herself with streamlining dealership and customer processes Georgina can be found with her head buried in a book or trying out new recipes at home.
Howard’s impressive career in the automotive industry spans 24 years where he has held various positions within automotive software and digital marketing. He brings these skills to his role as Business Development Manager at MotorDocs where he is responsible for augmenting national sales of the award-winning iDealFile platform and other MotorDocs products. Outside of the office you can find Howard watching Formula 1 or fishing.
Michelle has 20 years’ experience in automotive aftersales - starting her career as a Parts Advisor and working her way up to an Accredited Aftersales Manager. Combining her detailed understanding of this area with meticulous product management skills, she is responsible for the ongoing development of iDealFile and iServiceFile. Away from work, when she’s not engaging manufacturers, support teams or developers, Michelle cultivates a different kind of relationship, enjoying long walks with her beloved dog Max!
Jacque has 20 years’ experience in the automotive industry, spanning a broad range of roles including Service Advisor, Sales Executive, Expert Desk Senior Support Analyst and most recently Business Consultant for Autoline Drive at BMW Group UK, where she has worked since 1999. Jacque brings this wealth of knowledge to her role as Support Manager at MotorDocs where she is responsible for ensuring optimal levels of customer service. Outside the office, Jacque brings this high level of commitment to her fitness regime which includes golf, spinning and weightlifting.
Claire started her career in the Media and Forms (Print) Division of Kerridge Computer Company Limited in Bristol in 1988 and has since built up a powerful mix of automotive insight, technical writing and document production experience with the likes of CDK Global and Mercedes-Benz (UK). Which makes her the perfect fit for her role as Product Author and Tester at MotorDocs. When she’s not at work she enjoys watching a range of sports and listening to music – especially 80s soul music!
Alan has 35 years of automotive industry experience across small, medium and large dealers – including 25 years of managing aftersales departments. Over the years he has worked his way up from Parts Person to Parts Manager through to Regional Aftersales Manager and now he is a specialist automotive industry consultant. Alan works on technical projects for MotorDocs involving testing new developments and ensuring they are fit for purpose. He is the go-to person for all questions on system functionality.
Karen has enjoyed 22 years in the motor industry building extensive sector knowledge working with 20 marques. Prior to joining MotorDocs she was Divisional Head of Department at the Sytner Group with responsibility for database management, marketing, websites and system implementation. As Key Account Manager she ensures seamless project delivery and product implementation - helping clients get as much as possible from our platforms. If not found cooking and socialising with her close family and friends, she can be found watching great classic films cuddled up with her adorable pooch, Charley.
Lauren began her career in the automotive industry in 2001 as a receptionist at L&C Sevenoaks BMW/MINI while still in full-time education. Since then she has held a number of roles within sales, CRM, implementation and database management – most recently at Inchcape UK. As Key Account Manager at iDealFile Lauren works closely with customers to help them understand how to get the most from the platform, ensuring they are aware of all planned product developments. Away from the office Lauren enjoys walks by the seaside with her husband Pete, son Max and dog Bella!
Petra began her career in the automotive industry in 1988 as an office junior for a Ford car dealership. She worked at Inchcape from 1998 until 2013 initially as a Dealership Accountant before progressing to Franchise Financial Controller and finally Fleet Solutions Financial Controller. A qualified management accountant Petra began working with MotorDocs in 2014 and is now responsible for everything from accounts, to payroll and VAT. When she’s not working you’ll find Petra out enjoying the countryside walking her dog.
Arun has just begun his career in the automotive industry following his previous employment in the retail sector as a Junior Business Analyst. He joins MotorDocs as a Junior Application Support Analyst – responsible for providing technical support to MotorDocs customers through rigorous diagnostics and testing. Outside of the office Arun turns his attentions to the cricket pitch where he can be found playing tournaments in the summer months.
Ben has held a number of roles including IT Systems Support & Analysis, Project Manager and Operations Manager throughout his career in the automotive industry. Ben excels in all aspects of project management – from planning, risk management and problem-solving to strategy and implementation. His calm head in times of trouble and methodical working style contribute to the smooth and effective running of MotorDocs projects. Outside of work Ben is an avid follower of sport – watching as much rugby, football and cricket as time permits!
Gillian has many years’ experience providing technical and service support in a variety of arenas including mobile workforce management, mobile apps and mobile. She has also worked in vehicle leasing - covering accounts and managing the IT system. As IT Support Analyst her friendly, professional and personal approach comes to the fore as she helps colleagues and clients troubleshoot and resolve any software issues. Away from the office Gillian is an avid yarn crafter – including knitting, crochet and she can see a weaving loom playing a role in her future. She also loves to dabble in other crafts and has yet to find one she didn’t want to have a go at!
Ian joined MotorDocs having previously worked in IT support for a hospitality group and retail management for a miniatures manufacturer. As IT Support Analyst he is on the front line – swiftly answering calls and emails to diagnose and resolve any questions clients have about MotorDocs applications. He prides himself on exceptional customer service skills, comprehensive IT knowledge and an analytical approach. Outside of work he enjoys cycling and Dungeons & Dragons.
